Looks like I will be working in Dubai for a few weeks again starting on Wednesday. Could do with some sun actually =)

Doing my best to network and meet people over there but it’s kinda tricky when you’re 18 in a country that wants you to be 21 to do pretty much anything.

Seriously, no kidding, I was escorted out of a bar at my own hotel for quietly enjoying a pint before bed. Bummer.

It’s really strange actually, being 18, being used to not getting asked for ID and thinking it perfectably respectable to enjoy a drink now and then over here in the UK and then going to Dubai and being asked to leave for “being underager”.

Don’t get me started on the language…
